Description
It is a 1A Glass fuse. It is an electrical safety device that operates to provide overcurrent protection to an electrical circuit. It measures approximately 20 mm long by 5 mm in diameter (5x20mm) making it compatible with 5x20 fuse holders.
Because the fuse is made of glass, one can see the inside of the fuse so it is easy to determine if the fuse has blown or not. This particular fuse is “T” speed rated which means it is a slow-acting fuse, sometimes referred to as anti-surge. It can tolerate higher levels for a short period, without shorting.
